Ayodhya. Before the start of the Indian Premier League (IPL)-2026, the 20-member team of Lucknow Super Giants, along with the players and support staff visited Ram Lalla and offered prayers and sought blessings. Franchise owner Sanjeev Goenka was also present with the team. Everyone performed puja at Ram temple with traditional rituals and prayed for great performance in the coming season.

During this visit, team captain Rishabh Pant and other players paid obeisance at the feet of Lord Ram. The arrival of the team in the temple premises created an atmosphere of immense enthusiasm among the devotees present there. Officer in-charge of temple construction Gopal Rao and Superintendent of Police (Security) Balramchari Dubey took the players on a tour of the temple complex. The players greatly appreciated the grandeur of the temple. After the puja and darshan, the entire team left for Lucknow from Ayodhya.
