There is no doubt about it, Liam Rosenior will feel the pressure beginning to mount on his shoulders.
Anyone would, no matter how experienced, after such a torrid 10-day period. In the immediate aftermath of Chelsea's dour 3-0 defeat to Everton at the Hill Dickinson Stadium, Rosenior admitted it was his "most disappointing" moment since taking over in January.
It is hard to disagree with him, especially given the context of where Chelsea are right now. Saturday evening's defeat was the Blues' fourth in the space of 11 days. Two defeats to Paris Saint-Germain, they can happen against the champions of Europe, but the losses to Newcastle United and Everton - and the manner of both - really sting.

Chelsea's last goal was Enzo Fernandez's in the first leg of the Champions League loss to PSG. That was more than 300 minutes ago. To say the Blues have been toothless in front of goal would be an understatement.
Individually, all of the attackers have been off it. Cole Palmer probably looked Chelsea's most likely on Merseyside but even he was incredibly frustrated. Especially in the first half after a moment with Pedro Neto.
At one point in the first half, the ball was falling nicely to Palmer, who must have shouted 'Cole's', but Neto instead decided to steal possession. To say Palmer was furious would be an understatement. He spent the next 15 or 20 seconds shouting at Neto.
That, in a way, summed Chelsea up. Another toothless display. Another performance that leaves one questioning the mentality of the group.
Considering the form Liverpool have been in; the fact that they will finish this weekend in the top five beggars belief. Equally, from Chelsea's perspective, they are a point off the Champions League places, even after losing their last two games.
Rosenior is hopeful the international break has come at the right time for his squad: "I think through the season, if you look at the stats before me, they were very similar. I think what I don't want to do, I don't want to be seen to make excuses because that was not good enough.
"The last week hasn't been good enough. I think if you're a logical thinking person and you look at the workload and the amount of games that the players have played, I think it's a pretty simple conclusion to come to. Why I think the international break has come at a good time for us is because hopefully those players get a change.
"Most of them have to fly across the world and play for their countries. But maybe a reset, maybe some time away to regather and have a different environment and come back may refresh the group."
