It is being told that during this fast one can worship Lord Ganesha but looking at the moon is prohibited. There is a possibility of being falsely accused by seeing the moon.

According to the Panchang, Chaturthi Tithi of Shukla Paksha of Chaitra month will start at 11.56 pm on March 21, 2026 and will end at 9.16 pm the next day on March 22, 2026. on this day Lord Ganesha Vasudev form is worshipped.
