JEE Main Exam 2026: JEE Main Session 2 Exam City Slip Released—Check Exam Dates and Timings..

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the city slips for the JEE Main 2026 Session 2 examination. Candidates appearing for the Joint Entrance Examination (Session 2) can download their city slips from the official JEE Main website, jeemain.nta.nic.in. To do so, candidates will need to use their login credentials. According to reports, the examination for Paper 1 will be conducted on April 2, 4, 5, 6, and 8, 2026, while the examination for Paper 2 will take place on April 7.

The examination will be held in two shifts. The first shift will run from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, and the second shift will be held from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM. The exam will be conducted at various centers established across different cities within India, as well as in 15 cities outside the country.

How to Download the City Slip?
First, visit the official JEE Main website: jeemain.nta.nic.in.
Next, click on the "JEE Main Exam 2026 Session 2 exam city slip" link available on the homepage.

A new page will open, where candidates will be required to enter their login details.
Now, click on "Submit," and your exam city slip will appear on the screen.
Verify your city slip details and download the page.
Retain a hard copy of the slip for future reference.

According to reports, a total of over 1.6 million students have applied; specifically, more than 1.4 million students applied for the January session, while over 200,000 candidates have applied for the April session. 

How many engineering seats are available in top government colleges?
According to reports, the country's premier government institutions—including the IITs, NITs, IIITs, and GFTIs—collectively offer a total of 63,000 engineering seats. Specifically, there are approximately 18,000 seats in the IITs, around 24,500 seats in the NITs, nearly 10,000 seats in the IIITs, and over 10,000 seats available in Government-Funded Technical Institutes.
