According to Drik Panchang, Ashtami Tithi of Shukla Paksha of Chaitra month is starting on 25 March 2026 at 01:50 pm. This date will end on March 26, 2026 at 11:48 am. In such a situation, according to Udayatithi, Durga Ashtami and Kanya Puja will be done on 26 March 2026.

Auspicious time for Kanya Pujan (Chaitra Navratri Kanya Pujan Subh Muhurat)

  • On the day of Maha Ashtami, the first auspicious time for Kanya Puja will be from 6.18 am to 7.50 am.
  • The second auspicious time will be from 10.55 am to 3.31 pm.

Take these precautions during Kanya Puja

Invite girls between 2 to 10 years of age for Kanya Puja. It is best to worship girls between 2 to 10 years of age during Navratri. When the girls come home, first wash their feet and give them a seat to sit. While feeding the girls, keep yourself mentally and physically pure.
