The wait of lakhs of students of Bihar is finally over. Bihar School Examination Board has declared the Intermediate i.e. 12th result 2026. Education Minister Sunil Kumar and Board Chairman Anand Kishor released the results in a press conference.
This year a total of 85.19 percent students have passed the examination. As soon as the results are released, the list of toppers of the three streams of Science, Arts and Commerce has also been revealed. The special thing is that this time also the girl students have registered their strong presence by performing brilliantly.

Aditya Prakash Aman, a student of Samastipur from the Faculty of Science, has secured the first position in the Intermediate Examination 2026 of Bihar Board. There is an atmosphere of happiness in the family as well as in the entire district due to his excellent performance. Sakshi of Sitamarhi and Sapna of Nawada jointly stood at the second position. Both the students have made their mark at the state level by securing excellent marks.
The performance of girl students was especially discussed in this year's results. The strong presence of girls in the toppers list once again proved that they are not behind anyone in the field of education. For the last few years, the success of girl students in Bihar Board results has been continuously increasing, which is being seen as a positive change in the field of education.
Bihar Board Intermediate exam was held between February 2 and February 13 this year. After this, the evaluation of copies started from the last week of February and was completed by mid-March. This time also the board scrutinized the copies quickly and released the result within just 25 days. This is considered a much faster process than many other boards in the country.
Before releasing the results, potential toppers were called to the board office and their verification and interview was done. Its objective was to ensure that the results remained completely transparent and reliable. Bihar School Examination Board says that this process increases the credibility of the result and reduces the possibility of any kind of irregularities.
