Why was America forced to stop the war? Inside story of Donald Trump's reversal on Iran in 8 hours

US President Donald Trump has taken a big U-turn on the Iran war within 8 hours. Trump, who earlier announced to bring peace through force, has announced not to use force for peace. According to Trump, talks are going on with Iran on ceasefire. This conversation will continue throughout the week. Therefore, no energy targets of Iran will be attacked. Iran has called it Trump's defeat. According to government media donald trump Have retreated from the war.

In the 24-day war, Iran brought America to its knees using drones, missiles and Hormuz. This is the reason why Trump, who was talking about escalating the war till Monday morning, started talking about ceasefire only after 8 hours. The question is arising that how did all this happen?

America retreated from moving forward in the war

When the war started, Mossad gave a presentation to the American President. It was said that after the initial air strike, the people of Iran would take to the streets. If the people take to the streets, the government of the Islamic Republic itself will be ousted from power.

Moving forward on this script, Israel and America assassinated Supreme Leader Khamenei on the very first day of the war. America also assassinated Ali Larijani of Iran. Despite this, the people of Iran did not take to the streets. According to the New York Times, this assessment of Mossad proved to be a complete failure.

In the current situation, Trump had only one option. Move forward in the war. For this, America would have had to send troops to Iranian soil. It was not easy for America to take this decision. If soldiers had been killed in Iran, Trump would have been disgraced all over the world. Also, it was not certain that sending troops would lead to a coup in Iran.

America was under pressure from Gulf countries

There was pressure on America from the Gulf countries. Especially Oman, Qatar and Saudi Arabia. These countries said that Israel is benefiting from the war, but we are having to bear the losses. Gulf countries had also indicated that they may review their relations with America.

America and Trump have huge investments in the Gulf. According to The Telegraph Britain, if America attacked any of Iran's energy sites, then Tehran had planned to paralyze the Gulf countries. Under this, Iran had made preparations to attack the oil and gas bases of Bahrain, Jordan, Saudi, Qatar and Kuwait.

Qatar had recently expressed its displeasure with America. Gulf countries did not want their bases to be attacked.

No option to open Hormuz

According to the Washington Post, Donald Trump had a meeting with his security advisor Dan Kane regarding the Strait of Hormuz. In this meeting, Trump asked Kane - Why are you not sending warships to Hormuz? On this, Kane said that the solution to Hormuz will not come from the warship.

According to Kane, Hormuz is a very narrow path. If a warship is sent here, it may remain closed for a long time, due to which there may be an outcry in the entire world. Kane said that even a small Iranian boat could damage an American warship here. This may bring disgrace to America.

NATO and the world did not get along

Trump initially hoped that he would get the support of NATO or other countries of the world in the war against Iran. However, when the time came for help, all the countries withdrew their hands. No country supported America in the Battle of Hormuz. Initially Trump was angry at NATO and Europe, but in the end he had to change his decision.
