SIR Supplementary Voter List is going to be published today, Monday itself. According to commission sources, 28 lakh 6 thousand names have been settled till Sunday evening out of a total of 60 lakh ‘pending’ in the SIR process. Only those names will be mentioned in the first list. After that, the Commission will publish the list of remaining names every Friday. The Election Commission claims that efforts are being made to resolve a total of 60 lakh pending names before the first round of voting on April 6. But how to see if your name is on the first list?

According to the commission sources, this additional list will be published on the Election Commission’s website after six o’clock in the evening. After that, online and offline voters can check if their name is available. In case of online viewing, it will be available on the Commission’s website after Monday evening. The Commission’s website is – voters.eci.gov.in. It is known that SIR supplementary option will be available on the website after publication of additional list. There you have to search your name with epic number. Voters can also check if their name is available by visiting the ECI Net App.

This additional list will be published on the website of Election Commission after 6 pm on this day. After that, online and offline voters can check if their name is available.

On the other hand, only after the publication of this additional list, the list of additional names will be hung in the booth, BDO, SDO office and District Magistrate’s office. According to commission sources, the list of first names published will reach the district magistrate’s office and BLOs on Monday. It will be hung soon after. By going there, voters can easily check whether their names are there.

According to commission sources, the published list will have two columns, addition and deletion. On Sunday, the Commission has informed that, according to the Supreme Court’s order, those whose names will be omitted can apply to the tribunal to withdraw their names. Already, this special tribunal has been constituted in accordance with the Supreme Court’s order. According to the sources, this tribunal formed in accordance with the Supreme directive consists of 19 former judges for 23 districts. This tribunal consists of 19 judges including former Calcutta High Court Chief Justice TS Sivajnanam, former Justices Biswajit Bose, Ranjith Kumar Bagh, Pemana Chatterjee.
