People of Assam want change, Congress will come to power… DK Shivkumar claims from TV9 platform

Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar claimed that the people of Assam want change. Congress will come to power there. He said that the people of Assam have elected the Congress President (Gaurav Gogoi). He is a very senior leader. Under his leadership the entire Congress party is united and working very hard and there will be a change in power.

He said that earlier Assam was a Congress ruled state, but there is no Congress rule there for the last 10 years, but the people of Assam want a new and young and non-accused face to come forward there. Congress party will come to power there.

He said that he does not want to comment on BJP. He does not want to make any comment on BJP leadership and BJP candidate nor does he want to make any comment on BJP Chief Minister.

He dreams during the day… DK's taunt on CM

To this question, CM Himanta Biswa Sarma said that he decides 30 percent of the Congress ticket, in response to which DK Shivakumar said that we all dream at night, but he dreams during the day. How can he take decisions about the Congress Party? BJP people are traveling a lot and are suffocating, because they will answer this at the right time.

On the claim of Himanta Biswa government that all the Hindu leaders of Congress Party are with BJP, DK Shivkumar said that this perception is wrong. Congress party has its own history. Has its own moral value. Congress takes everyone along. They believe only in Hindutva, but we take everyone along, whether they are Muslims, Sikhs, Hindus or Buddhists. We take everyone together. We believe in the Constitution, the national flag and the national song. We have given these three to the country.

People want change, time for Congress will also come

On the lack of discipline in Congress, he said that in the last 30-40 years, BJP has emerged as a political party. Earlier, Vajpayee and Advani were two leaders in the Parliament. Now their number has become larger. There is no moral value in them. They believe in Operation Lots. What did he do in Karnataka and Haryana and Maharashtra? Majority was not achieved before in Maharashtra.

DK Shivkumar said that NCP and Shiv Sena were broken and the government was formed. Earlier this was done in Karnataka. There is no moral value in them. We believe in moral values. We do not believe in breaking any party. We trust the people of the country.

DK Shivkumar said that the public trusted the public opinion given in the country and the state. Nothing is permanent in politics. The sun rises and sets. Day and night come and go. BJP will also disappear. This night will be morning. Congress had a huge majority earlier. The time will also come. We believe that the people of the country want change and that time will come.
