Chief Minister Health Scheme proved to be a boon for a 1 year old innocent child, this is the case of Sri Muktsar Sahib of Punjab.

In Sri Muktsar Sahib, Punjab, the family has expressed gratitude for the one year old baby getting benefits under the Chief Minister Health Scheme. The girl needed immediate medical care due to pneumonia. Earlier in such cases, families had to arrange funds, complete documentation or wait for approval before treatment could begin.

Chief Minister Health Scheme On the basis of K card, the girl's treatment could start without any payment in Deep Hospital under the supervision of Dr. Monica Garg. Due to timely treatment, the girl could recover safely.

Similar examples are also coming from districts like Sangrur and Mansa, where children born with low weight and other serious conditions requiring special treatment are getting treatment under the scheme without any financial constraint. The increase in such cases shows that access to treatment is now becoming faster and easier for families across Punjab.

Highlighting the impact of the scheme, Punjab Health and Family Welfare Minister Dr. Balbir Singh said, under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, Mukhyamantri Sehat Yojana is ensuring that there are neither financial nor administrative barriers in treatment. In cases like this, where a small child requires immediate treatment, even the slightest delay can lead to serious consequences. This scheme completely eliminates that risk.

Cashless cover up to ₹10 lakh

Under the Mukhyamantri Sehat Yojana, cashless health cover of up to ₹10 lakh per year is provided to each family, allowing beneficiaries to get treatment in empaneled government and private hospitals. More than 26 lakh health cards have been issued so far and patients are receiving treatment under more than 2,300 medical packages in more than 900 empaneled hospitals.
