Big update on LPG booking, these people will not get cylinder in 25 days

A big update has come out on LPG booking. Customers who have two cylinders i.e. double bottle connection will now have to wait for 35 days after their last delivery before booking a refill. Earlier this interval was 25 days. This rule will be applicable everywhere in urban and rural areas.

According to the new rule, people who have double bottle connection will now have to wait for 35 days to book a new cylinder. That means you will use one cylinder and the other will remain at home as a backup, but the next booking will be possible only after 35 days. Earlier this time was 25 days, which has now been extended so that the gas supply can reach everyone properly. Therefore, now such families will have to plan their usage carefully, because even if they book early, the system will give slots at the same fixed time.

Who can book within 25 days

Those who have a connection with only one cylinder can still book a new cylinder after 25 days. This means that for those families who are managing without backup cylinder, the waiting time has been kept less. This rule is a relief for those who need gas quickly. The aim of the government is that such needy people can get gas on time and they do not have to face the problem of empty cylinders.

Who can book within 45 days

Consumers covered under Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana will now be allowed to book a new cylinder only after 45 days. This scheme is for poor families and women, hence its supply system is handled differently. The time of 45 days has been kept so that the gas reaches all the beneficiaries on time and there is no shortage or problem of any kind.
