When users opened the Facebook app or website, this message appeared on a white screen. The issue persisted despite attempts to reload the page, switch browsers, or check their internet connection.
Complaints regarding this issue primarily originated from the city of Delhi, India. Many users took to social media platforms to report the problem, inquiring whether Facebook had gone down.

Currently, no such issues have been observed on Downdetector or other service status websites. Furthermore, Meta has not yet issued any official statement regarding the matter. Some users reported that the problem was limited to Facebook, while Instagram and WhatsApp continued to function normally.

Users attempted various troubleshooting methods—including clearing the cache, updating the app, using a VPN, and switching between mobile data and Wi-Fi. In most cases, the issue persisted for several hours.

One user remarked, “I wanted to check my group chats and feed, but I kept encountering the same error repeatedly.”

Many users noted that, given their reliance on Facebook, both their work and leisure activities were disrupted.

It now appears that the issue is being resolved for the majority of users.
Such incidents have occurred previously, where Meta's platforms have experienced outages—either globally or locally. Experts suggest that such glitches sometimes arise due to increased user traffic or server maintenance activities.
