The India Meteorological Department has provided the following regional updates:

• Two successive western disturbances are expected to affect Himachal Pradesh starting on March 26.


• Rain and thunderstorms are anticipated in the lower and middle hills, while higher altitudes may witness snowfall.


• Gusty winds reaching speeds of 40–50 km/h and lightning are forecasted for all districts except Kinnaur and Lahaul-Spiti on March 28.


• Chamba, Kangra, Kullu, and Mandi are expected to experience active weather conditions on March 26.
