During this session, a major announcement was made specifically for women. The government has declared that it will provide a monthly stipend of ₹2,500 under the 'Mahila Samriddhi Yojana' (Women's Prosperity Scheme). The objective of this scheme is to empower women financially and improve their standard of living.

To this end, the government has allocated a provision of ₹5,100 crore in the budget. This scheme has been introduced specifically for poor and needy women, ensuring they receive monthly financial assistance to help them manage their expenses more effectively. Let us explore which women are eligible to benefit from this scheme, when it is set to launch, and how to apply:

Which Women Are Eligible for the ₹2,500 Benefit?
It is important to note that not all women will be eligible to benefit from this scheme. Several essential criteria have been established for eligibility, such as:

The woman must not currently be availing benefits from any other government scheme.

When Will the Scheme Launch?
The government has officially announced this scheme in the budget, and the process for its implementation is currently underway.
