Bhojpuri superstar Pawan Singh remains in the headlines more for his personal life than his professional life. Problems have been going on between Pawan and his wife Jyoti Singh for a long time and the matter has reached the court and the threshold of divorce. Meanwhile, the divorce case going on between Pawan Singh and his wife Jyoti Singh was heard in Na Ara Civil Court on Wednesday. During the hearing, Pawan Singh said in very clear words in front of the court that he no longer wants to live with Jyoti Singh and he wants a divorce. He has also expressed his consent for one time settlement.

Jyoti Singh did not appear in the court during the hearing that lasted for about 40 minutes. His lawyer presented his case before the court. It was told that the court tried to hold talks between the two parties through video conferencing to explore the possibility of reconciliation, but Jyoti Singh could not be contacted.

Pawan Singh looked a bit disappointed while leaving the court after the hearing. He did not respond to media questions and moved ahead with folded hands. Pawan Singh's lawyer Suman Kumar said that this date was kept for the purpose of reconciliation. He said that the actor has assured the court that he is ready to accept whatever one-time settlement is decided. At the same time, Jyoti Singh's lawyer Vishnudhar Pandey has already made it clear that if Pawan Singh does not want to live with him, then Rs 10 crore, a house and expenses during the case will be demanded as compensation.

Before the hearing, Jyoti Singh had shared a video of Chhath Puja on social media, in which she was seen worshiping in traditional attire. In the earlier hearing, she had reached the court and had emotionally pleaded for justice. On the previous date, Jyoti Singh had alleged that she was being given only the next date again and again and no concrete initiative was being taken by her husband. He had described his married life as full of mental pain.

Jyoti is Pawan Singh's second wife

Pawan Singh's first wife Neelam Singh committed suicide in 2015. After this his name was also associated with Bhojpuri actress Akshara Singh. Later on 7 March 2018, he married Jyoti Singh. Now both are demanding divorce from the court. Now all eyes are on the next hearing of this high-profile case. The court will take further action based on the arguments of both the parties.
