Princess Catherine married into the Royal Family in 2011 and has seen her popularity increase year by year. The Princess of Wales, who met Prince William at university, may have appeared shy in her first few years as a royal, but this is no longer the case.
Instead, the princess now shines in her role, conducting public walkabouts and making public addresses. She has also found her passions as a royal, with her main one being all about children and how the early years of a child's life can shape their future.
While the princess has definitely stepped up in her role as Princess of Wales, some may wonder how she will fare when she takes on the role of Queen.
This is a role Catherine, 44, will have when her husband Prince William ascends to the throne.
While Catherine herself does not address the future role that awaits her, William has already suggested change will be on his agenda, suggesting he has a plan in place for his time as monarch.
It is likely that Catherine has therefore also considered what being Queen will look like to her.
So, do you think Princess Catherine will make a good queen? Vote below.
Royal author Katie Nicholl told the Mirror : "I asked someone who knows Kate and William very well whether she is ready for the next step up to Queen, and the response was a categorical 'yes'.
"Of course, she and William want Charles to be on the throne for many more years to come, but if that moment comes sooner than hoped for, they are absolutely ready and more than equipped for the roles that lie ahead of them.
"They've had plenty of exposure and have been well prepared."
