
Swami Avimukteshwaranand Saraswati and his disciple Swami Mukundanand Giri have got a big relief from Allahabad High Court in the sexual harassment case. The High Court has accepted the anticipatory bail petitions of both. This decision was given by the single bench of Justice Jitendra Kumar Sinha. Earlier on February 27, the High Court had reserved the decision after the completion of the hearing. Let us tell you that to avoid arrest, Swami Avimukteshwaranand Saraswati and his disciple Swami Mukundanand Giri had filed a petition in the High Court.
Earlier, while reserving the verdict in this case on February 27, the High Court had said that he will not be arrested till the verdict is given. After this order of the court, Swami Avimukteshwaranand had said, our lawyer told that there was a detailed discussion in the court. The court has reserved the decision. There has been a ban on arrests. The judge is thinking that this case itself is fake.
Not only this, Swami Avimukteshwaranand had also said that it has been proved in the court that the child never lived here in the monastery. The court also said that the children should be given the custody of the Juvenile Board. Earlier, there was a debate on the maintainability of his anticipatory bail application in the Avimukteshwarananda Saraswati case, in which the state government and the complainant's advocates had opposed the anticipatory bail.
Let us tell you that Swami Rambhadracharya's disciple Ashutosh Brahmachari and two other people including a minor had complained against Swami Avimukteshwarananda. According to the FIR, she alleged that she was sexually assaulted in Gurukul and during religious gatherings including Magh Mela.
On the other hand, Avimukteshwaranand had made serious allegations against the police. He showed a photograph and accused the administration that a Prayagraj police officer was at the center of a conspiracy against him. In the photo, the officer is seen cutting the cake and Ashutosh Brahmachari is seen standing near him. The administration and police had started action against him on 18th January, on the day of Mauni Amavasya.
