Who is eligible to apply for the Mahila Samriddhi Yojana?

– Women aged between 21 and 59 years
– Women residing in Delhi
– The applicant must have lived in Delhi for a minimum of 5 years.
– Women belonging to the below poverty line (BPL) or Economically Weaker Section (EWS) category.
– A woman whose family income ranges from Rs 2.5 lakh to Rs 3 lakh per year qualifies.
– Neither the woman nor any family member should be a taxpayer.
– Women must not hold a government job.
– Women should not have retired from service.
– Women who are not benefiting from any other government scheme.

How can you apply for the Mahila Samriddhi Yojana?

As per the information available, the Delhi government will establish a website for this scheme based on the recommendations of an expert committee.
Eligible women will be able to submit their applications through this website.
It is also anticipated that provisions will be made for offline applications for the scheme.

How will women get Rs 2500 every month?

There is a provision to provide a monthly benefit of Rs 2500 to eligible women who join the Mahila Samriddhi Yojana. The Delhi government will send this money directly to the bank accounts of the beneficiaries. This money will be transferred through DBT i.e. Direct Benefit Transfer. Now the question is, What documents will be required to apply for Mahila Samriddhi Yojana? Applicant’s Aadhar card, residence certificate, income certificate, mobile number, passport size photo, BPL card, bank account details etc. will be required.
