Banarasi Tomato Chaat: Have you ever tasted the real taste of Banarasi Tomato Chaat? This chaat found in the streets of Banaras tastes very delicious. The taste of this chaat is so amazing that even Nita Ambani is crazy about this recipe. The aroma of sweet and sour tomatoes, boiled potatoes and spices all together enhances the taste of Banarasi Tomato Chaat. If you also want to try this recipe at home, then let us know the easy method of making it.

Ingredients to make Banarasi Tomato Chaat:
Tomato, boiled potatoes, desi ghee, ginger, green chilli, sugar syrup, black salt, chaat masala, red chilli powder, roasted cumin powder.

How to make Banarasi Tomato Chaat
First of all, wash ripe red tomatoes and cut them into big pieces. Keep in mind that the tomatoes should not be too sour, only then the taste of the chaat will be balanced.

Now take a pan and heat 1-2 spoons of desi ghee in it. When the ghee becomes slightly hot, add finely chopped ginger and green chillies to it. Fry them lightly so that their aroma comes out.

Now put chopped tomatoes in the pan and cook on medium flame. Keep stirring the tomatoes occasionally so that the tomatoes do not stick to the bottom.

Mash boiled potatoes and add it. This increases the texture and thickness of the chaat. Mix potatoes and tomatoes well.

Now add black salt, chaat masala, red chili powder and roasted cumin powder. These spices give the real Banarasi taste to this chaat.

Now add some sugar syrup to it. This adds a slight sweetness to the chaat, which when combined with the sourness of the tomato, gives an excellent taste.

Now cook this mixture for 2-3 minutes more so that all the flavors mix well and the chaat becomes slightly thick.

Take out the hot chaat in a bowl. Garnish by adding green coriander, a little sev or bhujia on top. If you want, you can also add some lemon juice.
