Home Pedicure: With the changing weather comes pain in the feet. Being locked in shoes all day can cause sweat, dust and bacteria to cause fungal infections. If you too are embarrassed by the smell or itching of your feet, then these easy remedies of Ayurveda will keep your feet baby soft and fresh even in the scorching heat.
These days the mood of the weather has changed, it is cold in the morning and scorching heat in the afternoon. In this humid environment our feet are most affected. Due to sweat and closed shoes, problems like burning, itching and bad smell start appearing in the feet. In such a situation, by taking a little care, you can have healthy feet at home even without proper footwear.
In Ayurveda, Neem is considered the biggest protector of the skin. To avoid foot infections in summer, add neem leaves or a few drops of neem oil to bathing water. Its anti-bacterial properties not only clean the dirt but also eliminate the microscopic germs caused by sweat.
Often people wipe their body after bathing but leave the area between the toes wet. This moisture is the real root of fungal infection. Remember that bacteria grow rapidly in wet feet. Therefore, dry your feet thoroughly with a towel and if possible, allow them to be exposed to air or light sunlight for some time.

Avoid wearing shoes made of very tight or synthetic materials in summer. Choose footwear in which air can circulate easily. Wearing cotton socks and exposing shoes to sunlight from time to time are the simplest ways to prevent sweat odor.
The dead skin accumulated on the feet is home to bacteria. You do not need to buy expensive scrubs to remove it. For this, mix coconut oil in a little sugar. Massage your feet gently with this mixture once a week. Not only will it remove dead skin but coconut oil will also give velvety softness to the feet and improve blood circulation.
By regular cleaning and adopting proper footwear, you can not only maintain the beauty of your feet but can also avoid serious skin diseases. This summer, give your feet the same care you give your face.
