New Delhi, 26 March 2026: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Thursday announced the schedule of Team India’s 2026-27 domestic international season. Exciting and action-packed matches will be played in the next local season. Four visiting teams: West Indies, Sri Lanka, Zimbabwe and Australia will visit India to play multi-format cricket. This season, 22 international matches will be played in 17 cities.
This season will start with West Indies’ tour of India, which will start from September 27, 2026. India and West Indies will play a three-match ODI series followed by a five-match T20I series. ODI matches will be played in Trivandrum, Guwahati and New Chandigarh. T20I matches will be held in Lucknow, Ranchi, Indore, Hyderabad and Bengaluru.
1st ODI: 27 September, Trivandrum
2nd ODI: 30 September, Guwahati
3rd ODI: 3 October, New Chandigarh
First T20: 6 October, Lucknow
Second T20: 9 October, Ranchi
3rd T20: 11 October, Indore
4th T20: 14 October, Hyderabad
Fifth T20: 17 October, Bengaluru
India will host Sri Lanka in December 2026. Three ODI and three T20 matches will be played in this series. ODIs will be played in Delhi, Bengaluru and Ahmedabad, while T20 matches will be played in Rajkot, Cuttack and Pune.
1st ODI: 13 December, Delhi
2nd ODI: 16 December, Bengaluru
Third ODI: 19 December, Ahmedabad
First T20: 22 December, Rajkot
Second T20: 24 December, Cuttack
3rd T20: 27 December, Pune
Zimbabwe team will visit India at the beginning of the new year. A three-match ODI series will be played in Kolkata, Hyderabad and Mumbai.
1st ODI: January 3, 2027 – Kolkata
2nd ODI: January 6, 2027 – Hyderabad
3rd ODI: January 9, 2027 – Mumbai
This season will end with the Border-Gavaskar Trophy, a five-match Test series against Australia. This series will start on January 21, 2027 in Nagpur. The subsequent test matches will be played in Chennai, Guwahati, Ranchi and Ahmedabad.
