Android users already have the facility to run two accounts in the same app, now this feature has been rolled out for iPhone users also. This means that now you will be able to run more than one WhatsApp account on the same device and same app. You just have to switch from one profile to another. Your account now appears as your profile picture, so you always know which account you're using.
This means that now there is no need to keep two phones to keep work and personal conversations separate. The company said that you will always know which account you are on because your profile picture will now be visible in the bottom tab. This will make it easy to switch between the two accounts without any confusion. Apart from this, many other new features have been released for iPhone users.
Chat Transfer feature now helps in moving chat history between iOS and Android devices. Users can transfer messages, photos and videos directly between devices without cloud backup. This process has been designed to be completed at the local level in just a few steps.
WhatsApp is rolling out new storage tools that let users find and delete large files directly within individual chats. Instead of clearing entire conversations, users can now delete selected files. There is also an option to delete only the media while keeping the text messages, which will give the user more control over the storage.
