As the warmer weather approaches, many people will be spending more time outside in their gardens, soaking in the rays. However, it is nice to have the option of shade from time to time, which is why buyers invest in parasols around this time of year.
Now, they are in luck as Debenhams has its Neo 3M Outdoor Freestanding Parasol with LED Lights up for grabs at £79.01, down from £164.99, saving buyers 52%. This one comes in the colour grey, and it can be used as a free-standing parasol with a cross base to keep it in place.
It features an 'easy to operate' crank, which helps to adjust the canopy to whichever position is required. It can also be easily folded down and stored away when no longer in use, and to protect it from any harsh weather conditions and elements.
A standout feature is the solar LED lighting, which creates a relaxing ambience as night falls. It is worth noting that the parasol is both UV and water-resistant.
If this isn't the one for everyone, Argos also has the Habitat 3m Overhanging Garden Parasol for £110. Described as being designed for 'alfresco lunches and lazy summer afternoons', this one features an easy wind crank mechanism to open and close the parasol, and it comes in the colour cream.
For a more unique option, Dunelm has the Sophie Robinson Beldi Floral Parasol for £89 on its website. Once again, this one has a crank feature for easy opening but its design is floral and it has decorative tassels, a mint trim and a wood-effect pole.
Back to the Neo 3M Outdoor Freestanding Parasol with LED Lights, however, which has been rated highly on Debenhams, one person wrote: "A gorgeous addition to any garden. Very easy to assemble and operate.
"The lights provide an added ambience with not too bright a glare. There is a little switch on one of the parasol arms that needs to be flicked, which can be hard to reach if you are short like me, but I managed. It also comes with a protective cover, which keeps it compact. Overall, very happy with the product and delivery process."
Another added: "Lovely. Will need weights for the stand as it tips if not with the weight of the umbrella, but it's gorgeous and I'm very happy with it."
A third happy shopper wrote: "Excellent value, great looking parasol bought for our hot tub. Remember the base will need anchoring either with slabs or fixing down."
A handful of others disagreed slightly, as one person said: "Everything is great, but if there were counterbalances." Another said: "Looks nice and sturdy, haven't tested yet, waiting for sunshine."
