During a public interaction programme in Gorakhpur, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath met residents and heard a wide range of grievances, emphasizing the need for prompt and effective administrative action. The interaction, held at the Gorakhnath Temple, saw participation from around 200 individuals seeking redressal for various issues.

Officials were instructed to handle complaints with urgency and sensitivity, ensuring that resolutions are delivered within a defined timeframe. The Chief Minister underscored the importance of accountability in governance, stating that negligence in addressing public concerns would not be tolerated. He reassured attendees that their issues would be addressed through appropriate administrative and legal channels.

The grievances presented during the session covered a broad spectrum, including complaints related to crime, illegal land occupation, family disputes, and financial assistance for medical treatment. In cases involving alleged land encroachment, the Chief Minister directed authorities to take strict action, particularly where vulnerable individuals may have been affected. He stressed that enforcement should be impartial and protective of lawful ownership.

Family-related disputes were also discussed, with instructions given to prioritize dialogue and mediation before resorting to legal measures. Officials were advised to ensure that such cases are approached with care to avoid escalation.

Several individuals sought financial support for medical treatment. In response, the Chief Minister directed administrative authorities to expedite the preparation of cost estimates for advanced care so that assistance could be processed without delay. He reiterated that financial constraints should not hinder access to necessary medical treatment.

Beyond administrative interactions, the visit also included routine engagements at the temple. The Chief Minister participated in religious observances and paid respects at the memorial of his spiritual mentor. He also visited the temple’s cowshed, where he spent time interacting with cattle as part of his regular schedule during such visits.

The outreach programme reflects an ongoing effort to maintain direct communication between the administration and the public, while highlighting the challenges of ensuring timely grievance redressal across diverse sectors.
