Pakistan Super League 2026 is currently being played in Pakistan. But a big controversy has come to light after the first match of the season. Actually, Pakistan cricket team's fast bowler Naseem Shah has come under the target of fans due to a social media post. Although he has deleted this post, this incident has become a topic of discussion on social media, where some people are calling it a threat to Naseem's career.

Big uproar over Naseem Shah's post

Actually, the inaugural match of PSL 2026 was played at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore. But due to fuel shortage in the country, the match took place behind closed doors, due to which common fans were not able to reach the stadium. However, Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) shared a video of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz arriving at the stadium, in which PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi and other officials were welcoming her. During this, players of Lahore Qalandars and Hyderabad Kingsmen also met him.

Commenting on this video, Naseem Shah wrote, 'Why is she being treated like the Queen of Lords?' This post of Naseem Shah became quite viral in no time. Even though the post was deleted within a few minutes, the screenshots went viral and sparked controversy on social media. However, some people are supporting Naseem and saying that he raised his voice on the truth. At the same time, people from the other side are demanding an apology and are expressing their displeasure considering it as a political comment. Some users said that 'Naseem's career may end with this post.'
