The Uttar Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (UPMSP) has released the academic calendar for the 2026-27 session, announcing that the new academic year will commence on April 1, 2026. The calendar also provides detailed information regarding the dates for examinations and their subsequent evaluation. According to the calendar, the first unit test—which will consist of multiple-choice questions—is scheduled to be held in the second week of July, while the second unit test—a descriptive assessment—is slated for the last week of August.

Meanwhile, the Board's practical examinations are scheduled to take place from January 27 to February 10, 2027, while the theory examinations for Classes 10 and 12 will be held in February. The Board has issued directives to schools to complete the evaluation process and upload the marks promptly; preparations for the annual examination results are set to begin in March.
