Materials:

  • Ragi flour
  • jaggery
  • dry fruits
  • Cardamom powder
  • Nutmeg powder
  • Daliv
  • Desiccated coconut

Action:

  • To make nachni vadas, first of all, heat ghee in a pan, add nachni flour and roast khamang on low flame.
  • If ragi flour is roasted properly, the taste of the dish will be very good and the vadas will last for a long time.
  • Then add half a cup of desiccated coconut to it and roast it. If all the food is roasted in ghee, it will give a beautiful aroma.
  • After that once again put ghee in the pan and add the powder and roast it. Keep all the baked ingredients to cool.
  • Heat water in a pot and add a bowl of jaggery to it and mix well. Prepare jaggery paste.
  • Mix cardamom and nutmeg powder in the prepared paste and gradually add the prepared ragi flour and mix.
    Then add ghee on top and mix. Pat the prepared dough ball evenly on a greased plate.
  • Then add crushed dry fruits on top and press gently. This will mix the dry fruits in the vadas.
  • Then cut the vadas with the help of a knife. Ready Nutritious Ragi Vadas made in an easy way.
