109 new Aam Aadmi clinics started in Punjab, promise to open 400 more clinics soon

Elaborating on the health model in Punjab, AAP national convenor Arvind Kejriwal said that these clinics are providing 107 medicines and 47 diagnostic tests completely free of cost. He also said that till now about 5 crore OPDs have been done under this health network. Visits have been recorded. The AAP supremo said that the government is issuing health cards to 65 lakh families, out of which 30 lakh cards have already been made and 1.65 lakh people have availed treatment from it.

Comparing it with Delhi, the former Chief Minister of Delhi cautioned the voters of Punjab against the anti-people policies of the BJP and said that if the BJP government comes to power, Free electricity, health care like Delhi And will withdraw other public welfare schemes.

Total number of Aam Aadmi Clinics 990

Addressing a huge gathering at Fatehgarh Sahib, Arvind Kejriwal said that 109 new Aam Aadmi clinics are being inaugurated, where the poor will get treatment and free medicines. He said that in the last four years, 881 Aam Aadmi clinics have already been created and today 109 more clinics are being added to this list, taking the total number of these clinics to 990. He said that 400 more Aam Aadmi Clinics would be established in the coming days, after which around 1500 Aam Aadmi Clinics would become functional across Punjab.

He said, you will find a common man clinic in every corner, every village and every locality of Punjab. If you have any minor problem, you can go there for treatment, where doctor's advice, treatment, tests and medicines are all free.

5 crore OPD visits so far

Arvind Kejriwal further said that within four years the Aam Aadmi Party government has ensured free treatment in the entire Punjab. So far 5 crore OPD visits have been recorded. The population of Punjab is 3 crores, which means that many people have got treatment in these clinics many times. He said that there are sugar patients, blood pressure patients, who take medicines from these clinics every month and there are many who might have gone here once, twice or thrice, because they are getting free treatment and medicines in these clinics.

Meanwhile, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann said, from this stage we are talking about education, health, electricity, agriculture and other sectors, whereas on the stages of other parties, only claims are being made to grab power. He said, even Prakash Singh Badal did not make Sukhbir the head of the state because he knew that he would destroy Punjab. Akali Party was once known as the party of martyrs, but the Badal family ruined our generations by pushing the youth into the quagmire of drugs. He misused the money of Shiromani Committee and Golak Gurudwaras for his personal interests.

1000 to 1500 rupees per month to women

Bhagwant Mann said, we have started Maa-Beti Samman Yojana, under which women of general category above 18 years of age will get Rs 1000 per month and women of Scheduled Caste community will get Rs 1500. Tax money belongs to the people and we are using it for their welfare. This money is coming back to them through development, schools, hospitals and roads. We have fulfilled all our guarantees and we will continue to work for the progress of the state. We have closed 19 toll plazas in Punjab, due to which common people are saving Rs 64 lakh every day. We have fulfilled every promise made to the people and will continue to do so. Our only agenda is the progress of Punjab and the prosperity of its people.

Two big irrigation projects in Fatehgarh Sahib

He said, today two big irrigation projects are being started in Fatehgarh Sahib with an investment of Rs 41.22 crore so that canal water can be delivered to the fields of the farmers. This includes concrete lining of 1L Distributor, Sangatpura Minor, Rithkhedi Minor and Chalila Sub-Minor. Earlier, due to low capacity, excess water used to go towards Haryana and the fields of Punjab were damaged. Now every drop of river water of Punjab will reach the fields of Punjab, which will benefit 41,726 acres of area in 70 villages.
