The record of fastest half-century in IPL is in the name of Yashasvi Jaiswal. Playing for Rajasthan Royals, he scored a half-century in 13 balls against Kolkata Knight Riders on May 11, 2023.
This is an unbreakable record in the name of Virat Kohli, which is very difficult to break. Kohli had made this record by scoring 973 runs in the 2016 season. Gayle, playing for RCB, scored 37 runs in the over of Kochi Tuskers bowler Parasnath Parameshwaran in 2011. Jadeja, playing for CSK in 2021, scored 37 runs in Harshal Patel’s over against RCB.
