Three brothers from Rasulpur Dhauladi village in Meerut’s Jani Khurd area have donated a 125-square-yard residential plot, worth about ₹15 lakh, to help the families of children killed in the recent US-Israeli attacks on Iran.

Yasir Mustafa, Aman Mustafa and Subar Mustafa, sons of late social worker Sarkar Hussain, were deeply saddened by the news of heavy civilian casualties; These reports also included attacks on schools, such as the attack in Minab, in which several children lost their lives. “The news of so many children dying shocked us. We wanted to help the affected families,” Aman told reporters.

On March 25–26, 2026, the brothers handed over the land deeds to the officials of ‘Anjuman Hussainiya’, a local charity organisation. President of the organization Suleiman Abbas and Treasurer Tanveer Haider, while taking the papers, told that this plot will be sold and the amount received from it will be sent directly to the Iranian Embassy in New Delhi as humanitarian aid with full transparency.

The local people of the village praised this work and called it a unique example of compassion and humanity beyond borders; He praised these brothers for fulfilling their civic responsibility during this international crisis.

However, this noble work has now also taken a political turn. Ankit Chaudhary, a leader associated with the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha, has written a letter to Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, urging officials to investigate whether the property truly belongs to the brothers, and to ensure that the entire process—including the eventual transfer of the money—is as per legal norms.

This incident, on the one hand, reflects the spirit of human solidarity, while on the other hand, it highlights the sensitivity of the legal and regulatory aspects associated with cross-border donations in India. Although no formal investigation has yet been confirmed, the case highlights the complexities of sending charity money to conflict areas through official diplomatic channels. This initiative by the Mustafa brothers continues to fuel the debate on the issue of compassion versus due diligence.
