Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor risks ending up in a static caravan supposedly purchased for his staff if he "is not careful", it has been suggested. The former prince is said to be irritating King Charles with multiple demands for upgrades at Marsh Farm, having been evicted from the 30-bedroom Royal Lodge following revelations about his ties to Jeffrey Epstein.
One of Andrew's extravagant demands is purported to be rehanging curtains from Royal Lodge in his new home, with the King paying to have them altered at "considerable expense", according to The Mail on Sunday. Artworks from Royal Lodge are also reportedly being rehung by removal firm, Gander & White, which charges around £15,000 for a team.
A source warned he may end up in a £26,000 static caravan, currently resting on bricks at Marsh Farm.
A source claimed to the MoS: "The King is angry because he doesn't want to pay any more than what he has already."
Andrew is reportedly waiting until Marsh Farm is up to his "standards". While it apparently needs rewiring and plastering, his demands are seemingly making the whole process "painfully slow", which has allegedly irritated his brother.
"But he needs to be out soon, and the King would have no qualms about pushing him out of Wood Farm if it was needed for overspill," the source warned. "Andrew might end up sleeping in that caravan if he's not careful."
Believed to be a Willerby Meridian Lodge, the two-bedroom model is modestly decorated, with a mix of brown and grey carpets and vinyl flooring. It has a kitchen and a living area.
One bedroom appears to be larger than the other, with the smaller room big enough for the necessities. There are also two small bathrooms.
Another source claimed the ex-prince has started using the static caravan, when he makes visits to see his soon-to-be home, and they claimed that he even liked it, since it was "novel" for him.
Andrew Mountbatten Windsor was sensationally kicked out of his 30-bed mansion after fresh revelations surrounding his ties to the peadophile Jeffrey Epstein.
Millions of files were released by the US Department of Justice in January, which included a photo of Andrew seemingly kneeling over a woman on all fours. Inclusion in the files does not indicate any wrongdoing.
He was also arrested on suspicion of misconduct in public office, and later released by police under investigation. Andrew has consistently denied any wrongdoing.
