Bollywood’s Mr. Perfectionist Aamir Khan has revealed that he grew up in a conservative household where watching romantic films was not allowed during his childhood.

In a recent interview, Aamir Khan shared that he watches very few films.

He explained that since childhood, he has been more inclined toward reading and was raised in a conservative environment where films especially romantic ones were strictly restricted.

According to Aamir Khan, during his early years, he only watched old black-and-white films that aired on Doordarshan. His parents were quite strict regarding movies and did not permit romantic content.

He further added that on weekends, he used to watch classic films featuring actors like Ashok Kumar and Dilip Kumar.

The Bollywood superstar admitted that even today, he watches very few films. He said, “I make films, but I hardly watch them. I don’t have much knowledge about new films or Hollywood; I live in my own world.”
