A chilling murder case similar to the Shraddha Walkar incident has surfaced from Visakhapatnam, sending shockwaves across the region. According to reports, a 35-year-old married man allegedly murdered his 28-year-old girlfriend and dismembered her body. Some body parts were recovered from a refrigerator, while others are believed to have been disposed of elsewhere. Police are currently searching for the missing head.
The accused has been identified as CH Ravindra, reportedly a naval employee. The victim, Monica, was a resident of Visakhapatnam. The crime took place in the city’s LV Nagar area.
Affair Despite Marriage
Investigations reveal that Ravindra was married but was in a relationship with Monica. Reports suggest that his wife had left their home a few weeks earlier. On March 29, Monica visited Ravindra’s house after he allegedly called her over.
Murder After Argument
Initial findings indicate that the two had an argument at home, which escalated violently. In a fit of rage, Ravindra allegedly killed Monica and later dismembered her body. He reportedly disposed of some body parts in a remote location, while storing others in a refrigerator.
Accused Surrenders
Police officials stated that Ravindra later surrendered at a police station and confessed to the crime. During the investigation, authorities recovered several body parts from his residence. However, the victim’s head is still missing, and search operations are ongoing to locate it and other remains.
The gruesome nature of the crime has drawn comparisons to the 2022 Delhi case involving Aftab Poonawala, who murdered and dismembered his live-in partner.
