Traveling to Bageshwar Dham from Delhi

By Train:


If you are looking for an economical way to reach Bageshwar Dham from Delhi, consider taking a train. You can board a train from New Delhi to Chhatarpur, with Khajuraho being the nearest railway station to the temple. There are two trains operating from Delhi to Chhatarpur (MCSC).


The first option is the Vande Bharat Express, which leaves Nizamuddin Railway Station at 6:00 a.m. and arrives in Chhatarpur at 1:16 p.m., with a fare of around ₹1,500.


The second option is the Geeta Jayanti Express, departing at 6:20 p.m. and reaching its destination at 6:00 a.m. The sleeper class fare is ₹380, while the 3-AC class costs ₹1,000.


Both trains travel to Khajuraho Railway Station, and from Chhatarpur station, Bageshwar Dham is about 30-35 kilometers away, with auto-rickshaws and taxis readily available.


By Bus:


There are direct and connecting buses from Delhi to Chhatarpur or Khajuraho, with fares ranging from ₹500 to ₹1,500, depending on the bus type. While bus travel is budget-friendly, it may take longer than other modes of transport.


By Car:
