A new casting update had come from the upcoming film of Salman Khan, as Nayanthara was confirmed to be part of the project directed by Vamshi Paidipally.

The makers had shared the announcement on social media and welcomed the to Annapooran actress with a note. The post read, “The Queen Arrives. The epitome of versatility and excellence #NAYANTHARA joins #SalmanKhanVamshiPaidipallyFilm. It’s an honour to have you on board for something truly special that’s underway.”

The film had been backed by producer Dil Raju under his banner. Reports had stated that the project was expected to go on floors in April.

Earlier, Salman Khan had also shared an update about the film. He had posted a picture with the director and wrote, “Dil, Dimag, Jigar se from this April with @directorvamshi and #DilRaju.”

This project had marked the first collaboration between Salman Khan and Vamshi Paidipally. The director and producer had previously worked together on films like Yevadu and Varisu.

As per India media reports, this had also been the first time Nayanthara and Salman Khan were set to appear together on screen.

Meanwhile, Salman Khan had been preparing for his next film Maatrubhumiwhich had earlier been referred to as Battle of Galwan.
