US President Donald Trump will deliver a televised address to the nation, focusing on the ongoing conflict with Iran.

Sharing the update on X, White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt urged citizens to “tune in,” adding that the President will speak at 9 PM ET to provide a key update on the situation.

The address comes as the military confrontation involving US and Israeli forces against Iran enters its second month, with growing concerns back home over the prolonged conflict.

Iran-Israel War Latest Updates

According to reports, Trump is considering a high-stakes move involving the deployment of US personnel into Iranian territory to secure stockpiles of highly enriched uranium. The operation, if approved, could involve elite special forces tasked with retrieving sensitive nuclear material over a period of several days.

Such a mission would carry significant risks, potentially placing American troops deep inside Iran and exposing them to missile and drone attacks.

Tensions escalated further on Tuesday after US forces struck a city believed to house a major nuclear facility. The move follows earlier strikes, including those on the Isfahan Nuclear Energy Centre, as part of efforts to curb Tehran’s nuclear capabilities.

Even as military pressure intensifies, backchannel diplomacy appears to be underway. Esmaeil Baqaei said Iran has received a negotiation proposal from Washington through intermediaries, including Pakistan, though no direct talks have taken place so far.

The developments hint ast a dual-track approach by the US -- stepping up military action while quietly exploring diplomatic options.
