Ranveer Singh’s latest blockbuster Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge shows no signs of slowing down. Even in its second week, the film continues to dominate cinemas, steadily marching towards new milestones while leaving its predecessor far behind. With impressive numbers coming in daily, the film has firmly positioned itself among the biggest global earners in Indian cinema.
On Day 13 (second Tuesday), the film added Rs 27.75 crore to its domestic net collection, according to industry tracker Sacnilk. This pushes its total India net to Rs 899.92 crore, while the gross collection in India has reached Rs 1,077 crore.
A closer breakdown reveals that the Hindi version remains the primary driver, contributing Rs 26 crore on the day. Meanwhile, the Telugu version added Rs 1 crore, and the Tamil version brought in Rs 55 lakh. Kannada and Malayalam versions made smaller contributions of Rs 15 lakh and Rs 5 lakh respectively.
The film is currently playing across 17,883 shows nationwide. Hindi occupancy averaged around 28.2%, beginning at 20.15% in the morning, peaking at 34.62% in the afternoon, and tapering to 25.77% by night.
Regionally, Delhi NCR recorded the highest activity with 1,562 shows and an overall occupancy of 34.5%. Mumbai followed closely, running 1,107 shows with a 32.5% occupancy rate.
These figures underline the film’s sustained appeal in key metropolitan markets, even as it enters its second week.
Globally, Dhurandhar 2 has officially crossed the Rs 1,400 crore mark. On Day 13 alone, the film earned Rs 8 crore overseas, taking its international gross to Rs 358 crore. Its total worldwide collection now stands at Rs 1,435.41 crore.
The film is now inching closer to the Rs 1,500 crore milestone, a feat achieved by only a handful of Indian films.
In comparison, the original Dhurandhar had collected Rs 437.25 crore net by Day 13, making the sequel’s performance significantly stronger.
However, despite its remarkable run, Dhurandhar 2 still trails behind two of Indian cinema’s biggest global hits, Pushpa 2: The Rule (Rs 1,742.10 crore) and Baahubali 2: The Conclusion (Rs 1,788.06 crore).
With consistent earnings and strong audience turnout, Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge is steadily closing the gap with the all-time highest grossers. The big question now is, can it break into the top tier of Indian cinema’s global box office records?
As the film continues its theatrical run, all eyes remain on its next milestone.
