The Disastrous Film Revealed

In Bollywood, numerous films have been produced with hefty budgets, only to fail miserably at the box office. Even renowned stars like Amitabh Bachchan and Salman Khan have been part of such flops. However, one film stands out for its astonishingly poor performance, having been made with a budget of ₹45 crores yet earning less than ₹1 lakh.

Discover the Film's Identity

The film in question is titled 'The Lady Killer.' Despite high expectations, it performed poorly upon its release. The lead actor is the son of a well-known producer, but the weak storyline failed to attract audiences. Arjun Kapoor, the son of producer Boney Kapoor, stars in this film alongside Bhumi Pednekar, which was released in 2023.

Minimal Earnings Reported

This crime thriller is now regarded as one of the biggest flops in Indian cinema. With a budget of ₹45 crores, it managed to rake in a mere ₹60,000, translating to a shocking 0.0001% return for the producers. Directed by Ajay Bahl, the screenplay was co-written by Ajay, Pawan Soni, and Mayank Tiwari. Despite the title containing 'Killer,' the film failed to make an impact at the box office, leading to both Arjun Kapoor and Bhumi Pednekar being labeled as part of Bollywood's biggest disaster.

Ticket Sales Were Abysmal

Surprisingly, only 293 tickets were sold on the film's opening day in India. Several factors contributed to its failure, including the rumored absence of a climax, which led to its release without a proper conclusion. The storyline did not resonate with viewers, and only 12 shows were scheduled for the film. The producers seemed to prioritize its OTT release over theatrical performance, which ultimately led to its downfall. On its first day, the film earned just ₹38,000.
