Dhurandhar: The Revenge, popularly known as Dhurandhar 2, has written history by becoming the first Bollywood film to enter the Rs 1,400 crore club worldwide. The film has collected Rs 1,466.47 crore worldwide, including Rs 1,101.47 crore in India and Rs 365 crore overseas. However, despite its massive box office milestone, the film’s momentum appears to be slowing down. On its second Wednesday, the film recorded its lowest single-day collection so far, and recorded a 58.77 per cent drop week-on-week.
Even with the slowdown, the film has surpassed the lifetime earnings of several major blockbusters, including the first part Dhurandhar and KGF: Chapter 2. However, it still lags behind the massive global collections of Pushpa: The Rule - Part 2 and Baahubali 2: The Conclusion by a considerable margin.
On Day 14, the film collected Rs 20.10 crore worldwide. Out of this, Hindi shows contributed Rs 18.75 crore, while other languages collectively added Rs 1.35 crore to the total.
The Ranveer Singh-starrer, directed by Aditya Dhar, had a strong start even before its official release, earning Rs 43 crore through paid previews.
On its opening day, the film minted Rs 102 crore worldwide, maintaining strong momentum during its initial run. The film’s Week 1 total stood at Rs 674.17 crore globally.
The majority of the earnings came from Hindi shows, which contributed Rs 636.04 crore, while other language versions added modest numbers - Tamil (Rs 11.20 crore), Telugu (Rs 25.27 crore), Kannada (Rs 0.88 crore), and Malayalam (Rs 0.78 crore).
