SSC CHSL Tier 2 2026: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has today released the City Intimation Slips for the SSC CHSL and Junior Engineer (JE) Tier-2 2026 examinations. These slips are intended for candidates who have qualified in the SSC Combined Higher Secondary (10+2) Level Examination, 2025 (Tier-II).

The SSC JE Paper-II examination is scheduled to be held on April 7, 2026, while the SSC CHSL Tier-II examination will be conducted on April 10, 2026. Both examinations will be conducted in a Computer-Based Test (CBT/Online) format. In terms of vacancies, there are approximately 1,731 posts for SSC JE. For SSC CHSL Tier-II, recruitment will be conducted for LDC/JSA, PA/SA, and DEO posts for candidates who have qualified in the preceding stages.

Strictly Adhere to These Guidelines
Candidates who wish to avail the facility of a 'Self-Scribe' (their own scribe) must complete a new scribe registration, as registrations made before November 5, 2025 (05.11.2025) are no longer valid.
Scribe registration is now linked with Aadhaar. Therefore, all interested candidates must complete this new registration process.

Candidates availing the Self-Scribe facility are required to submit their Scribe Registration Number so that their 'Scribe Entry Pass' may be issued.
The Commission has decided that the maximum age limit for a Self-Scribe shall be in accordance with the new policy. All other rules and regulations shall apply as stipulated in the official examination notification. Candidates who have opted for the 'Self Scribe' option may map their Scribe OTR by 11:00 PM on 03.04.2026 for JE (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical) Paper-II, and by 11:00 PM on 05.04.2026 for CHSL Tier-II. A Scribe Entry Pass will be issued only to those candidates who have completed this mapping process.

In the event of any discrepancy regarding the Admit Card or the Scribe Entry Pass, the examination notices dated 30.06.2025 and 23.06.2025 shall prevail. Candidates are advised to refer to the same.
