- On Thursday, April 2, wake up early, take a bath, and take a sankalp (vow) for Hanumanji's puja. If you plan to fast, take a sankalp for that as well.
- Before the shubh muhurat, gather all the puja items in one place. When the muhurat begins, place a wooden stool or 'bajot' in a clean area of your home.
- Spread a white cloth on this stool and place an idol or picture of Hanumanji. Apply a tilak on the picture and offer a flower garland. Light a lamp with pure ghee.
- After this, offer abir, gulal, roli, sindoor, janeu (sacred thread), kalava, paan (betel leaf), and red cloth one by one. Offer bhog to Hanumanji as per your wish.
- During the puja, keep chanting the mantra 'Om Ham Hanumate Namah' in your mind. After the puja, the whole family should perform the aarti together.
- After the aarti, if possible, chant the 'Om Ham Hanumate Namah' mantra at least 108 times using a Rudraksha mala. With Hanumanji's grace, all your wishes can come true.
