Hyderabad: Actor Ranbir Kapoor recently grabbed attention during the teaser launch of Ramayana in Los Angeles. The event was special as it gave audiences an early glimpse of the much-awaited film.
During the event, Ranbir was surprised with a unique and thoughtful gift from a fan who is also a designer. The moment quickly went viral on social media.
The fan gifted Ranbir a customised red bandhgala-style jacket. The design was inspired by the Ayodhya Ram Mandir. The jacket featured detailed gold threadwork, which stood out beautifully against the rich red fabric.
The lower part of the jacket had embroidery of the temple, while the back showcased an image of Lord Ram. The craftsmanship and detailing impressed everyone present.
Ranbir was seen carefully examining the jacket. He appreciated the effort and even showed it to his team, pointing out the intricate design elements.
At the event, Ranbir also spoke about playing Lord Ram in the film. He described the character as a symbol of compassion, courage, and righteousness. He said Lord Ram has been a guiding force for people for centuries and will continue to inspire generations.
He also thanked the audience in Los Angeles for their support and said it was a very special moment to present the film to them first.
Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, Ramayana is one of the most ambitious Indian films. The movie features a strong cast including Sai Pallavi as Sita, Yash as Ravana, Sunny Deol as Hanuman, and Ravi Dubey as Lakshman.
The project also includes global talents like Hans Zimmer and AR Rahman for music.
The film will be released in two parts. The first part is expected to hit theatres during Diwali 2026, and the second part will release in Diwali 2027.
