A grand and spiritually vibrant celebration marked Hanuman Jayanti at the renowned Kashtabhanjan Hanuman Temple, where devotion blended seamlessly with spectacular festivities. On the eve of the festival, a mesmerizing light and sound show transformed the temple premises into a visual delight, captivating thousands of devotees.
The highlight of the evening was the illumination of the towering 54-foot “King of Salangpur” Hanuman idol, surrounded by dazzling lights and music that created an electrifying atmosphere. The celebrations culminated in a stunning fireworks display that lit up the night sky, drawing large crowds of devotees.
Grand Maha Aarti in Divine Presence
On this auspicious occasion, a grand Maha Aarti was performed in front of the majestic Hanuman idol. The ceremony was attended by several saints, including Lalji Maharaj, along with thousands of devotees. The temple echoed with devotional chants as worshippers came together to participate in the sacred ritual, creating a deeply spiritual ambiance.
Unique Start with 1 Lakh Balloon Drop
The main day of the festival began with a unique and visually striking event—a drop of 1 lakh balloons at 9 AM, marking the grand opening of the celebrations. This rare spectacle became a major attraction for visitors.
Devotees thronged the temple from early morning, forming long queues for darshan of Lord Hanuman, while group aartis added to the devotional fervour.
Maha Annakut and Prasad Distribution
As part of the festivities, a grand Annakut offering featuring a wide variety of dishes was presented to the deity. Thousands of devotees are expected to partake in the prasad during the two-day celebration on April 1 and 2.
