The Inspire Institute of Sport hosted a five-day national kabaddi strength and conditioning camp with AKFI and Mashal Sports, training 75 elite athletes for the 2026 Asian Games. The programme combined scientific testing, high-performance training, and education to enhance overall athlete development.

Mumbai, April 2, 2026: The Inspire Institute of Sport (IIS) successfully hosted a five-day National Kabaddi Strength and Conditioning Camp from March 28 to April 1, in collaboration with the Amateur Kabaddi Federation of India (AKFI) and Mashal Sports.

The camp brought together 75 elite male and female kabaddi athletes – probables for the upcoming 2026 Asian Games – for an intensive, high-performance training programme designed to elevate physical conditioning and technical capabilities.

Comprehensive training and recovery programme

As part of IIS’ commitment to supporting high performance and advancing sports science in India, the camp featured a comprehensive schedule that included structured strength and conditioning sessions across the gym and track, kabaddi-specific technical training in the combat hall, and recovery protocols such as pool sessions, sauna, and ice baths.
