The National Testing Agency has released a notification stating that it has extended the Registration Date for the National Teacher’s Eligibility Test (NTET) until April 7, 2026.

NTET 2026 Registration Extended: The National Testing Agency has released a notification stating that it has extended the Registration Date for the National Teacher’s Eligibility Test (NTET) until April 7, 2026.

As per the official notification, the extension has been provided to facilitate candidates, including those from the Homeopathy stream. It said that “In continuation of its earlier public notice dated March 11, 2026, and in compliance with the interim order of the Hon’ble High Court of Kerala in W.P.(C) No. 12621/2026 dated March 31, 2026, the NTA has extended the last date for submission of the NTET 2026 application form".

The National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct the National Teacher’s Eligibility Test (NTET) 2026 on April 28, 2026, in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode across the country.
