UPSSSC JE Result 2026: The Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) has officially released the results for the Junior Engineer (Civil) Recruitment 2026. A total of 4,612 posts will be filled through this recruitment drive. Candidates who appeared for the examination can now check their results by visiting the Commission's official website and using their login credentials.

**Vacancy Details**
The Commission issued the advertisement for the Junior Engineer (Civil) recruitment on March 7, 2024. Initially, a total of 2,847 posts (2,819 under General Selection and 28 under Special Selection) were to be filled under this recruitment drive. These posts were designated for Junior Engineers and Assistant Development Officers across various government departments.

Subsequently, the Commission issued amendments on March 16, June 20, and June 24, 2024, increasing the total number of posts to 4,612. The current breakdown includes 3,739 posts under General Selection and 873 posts under Special Selection.

**Selection of Candidates for the Main Examination**
For this recruitment drive, candidates were selected for a total of 4,612 posts based on their scores in the PET-2023 examination. Candidates who secured a score of zero or less (negative) were not shortlisted.

Following this, the Commission selected approximately 15 times the number of candidates relative to the available posts in each category. Additionally, all candidates who secured the final cutoff score were also included in the list. Under this process, a total of 26,205 candidates have been permitted to appear for the Main Examination.

**How ​​will the Selection be Conducted?**
To be selected for the Junior Engineer (Civil) recruitment, candidates must first appear for a written (Main) examination. This examination will feature questions related to the candidates' respective technical subjects as well as General Knowledge. The evaluation of all candidates will be based on the marks they secure in the written examination. Following the results of the written examination, a final merit list will be prepared by the Commission. This merit list will be compiled based on the candidates' performance and the marks obtained. Candidates whose names appear in this final merit list will be appointed to the vacant positions upon completion of the document verification process.
