The Indian audience may not have loved the first glimpse of Ramayana a lot because of various supporting reasons, but the same cannot be said for its international audience. In fact, IShowSpeed’s reaction has been going viral.

He seemed to love the teaser so much, validating what the others had been going against very strongly. There had been many complaints about the VFX and how unnatural it looks, but Speed doesn’t think so. He, instead, loves it.

A video of IShowSpeed’s stream has taken over the internet with him reacting to the teaser of Ranbir Kapoor’s Ramayana. Unlike the rest, he seemed to love the story. He also loved the CGI, confusing it for animation at first, only to realise that it was real and that what pushed him to awe even more.

“Is this animation or did they film this? This is real? Because this looks too good! This movie looks crazy.”

He even kept asking if there was a prequel that was already there, so he could familiarise himself with the story. He was appalled by how good the CGI looked and admitted that he was excited for the film.

Although he wasn’t familiar with the mythological tale it was telling, it was enough to induce excitement in the streamer. The duology is set to be released on Diwali 2026 and Diwali 2027, respectively, with Ranbir Kapoor helming the role of Lord Rama. Sai Pallavi is playing Sita, Yash is playing Ravana, and Sunny Deol is playing Hanuman.

The movie is directed by Nitesh Tiwari and produced by Namit Malhotra. It received a lot of backlash because of how artificial the trailer looked, making it viral for all the wrong reasons. IShowSpeed liked it, creating a hype that had been lacking around the film because of the fans’ immense disappointment.

The film is based on Valmiki’s mythological epic, which is deeply rooted in parts of Indian culture. Not only were people against an adaptation on such a large scale, but they also wanted a fresh face to take on the role of Rama instead of Ranbir Kapoor. The VFX was only adding fuel to the fire.
