Drones fly overhead day in and out. Houses are numbered by the security forces. Festival gatherings are monitored. Those travelling for work have to register with the nearest security camp.

This is what life is like for thousands of Adivasi people living in the villages of Chhattisgarh’s Bijapur and Sukma districts. Once under the sway of the Maoists, these villages have now being taken over by the security forces.
