Indian television actress Dipika Kakad, also known as Faiza Ibrahim, recently opened up about her ongoing health challenges and the emotional impact of her medical journey.

The 40-year-old revealed that she has been under significant mental stress since undergoing liver cancer surgery in mid-2025. She expressed concern over recent tests, including a cyst and blood examinations, which have added to her worries.

Dipika and her husband, actor Shoaib Ibrahim, regularly share insights and videos about their daily life on their channel. She stated that her illness has shaken her deeply and that she has experienced intense mental pressure since the surgery.

She praised the resilience of women, saying that despite hormonal and other physical changes, women manage life’s challenges with remarkable strength. “Despite all physical and mental struggles, women handle life gracefully,” she said.

A few months after her liver cancer treatment, Dipika faced another health issue, a small cyst in her stomach which required hospitalization for removal. She shared in her YouTube vlog that discovering the cyst’s recurrence left her shaken and anxious about why it happened.

Dipika explained that her daily routine has changed significantly. She rests when tired and prioritizes her health, emphasizing the need to stay strong and maintain a positive outlook while managing treatment and daily life.

Dipika has been battling stage 2 liver cancer since last year. Her tumor was surgically removed in June 2025, after which she has been candidly sharing her experiences with chemotherapy and emotional ups and downs on her YouTube channel.

The actress gained fame for her role as Samar Bhardwaj in the drama series Sasural Simar Ka and won the reality show Bigg Boss Season 12.
