Ingredients for making Cabbage-Paneer Paratha

  • Wheat flour – 2 cups
  • Grated cabbage – 1 cup
  • Paneer – half cup
  • Onion – 1 (finely chopped)
  • Green chilli – 2
  • Ginger – 1 tsp
  • Cumin – half teaspoon
  • Salt – as per taste
  • Red chilli powder – half teaspoon
  • Green coriander – 2 teaspoons
  • Oil or ghee – for frying

  1. First of all, add water to wheat flour and knead a soft dough.
  2. Add grated cabbage and cheese in a bowl.
  3. Add onion, green chilli, ginger, salt, red chilli powder and green coriander and mix well.
  4. Make small balls of dough and roll them and fill the prepared stuffing.
  5. Roll the paratha gently and cook on medium flame on the pan.
  6. Apply ghee or oil and cook until golden on both sides.

Serve hot gobi-paneer paratha with curd, pickle or green chutney. If you want to further enhance the taste, you can add some butter on top.
